Shadowboxing / Bagwork Video

Use all techniques - punches, kicks, knees, elbows, defensive techniques. Move in different directions and show your footwork.

How to film your video

Shadowboxing

Use at least approximately 4 × 4 m of space. Move around, change direction and angles, and avoid standing in one place or facing the same direction throughout the video.

Bagwork

Move around the bag instead of staying directly in front of it. Show your technique from different angles and distances.

  • FORMAT

    • Shadowboxing or bagwork
    • Horizontal video
    • Maximum 2 minutes / 500 MB
    • One continuous clip — normal training pace, no editing, slow motion or compilation
  • FRAMING

    • Full body visible at all times, including your feet
    • Camera approximately 3–4 m away
    • Good lighting and sufficient video quality
    • Stay inside the frame
  • WHAT TO SHOW

    • Keep moving, show your technique from different angles
    • Use all weapons: punches, kicks, teeps, knees and elbows
    • Show defensive elements: blocks, checks, parries, evasions

We may reject videos that cannot be properly assessed. If this happens, we’ll let you know by email and you can upload a new video. Please follow the video requirements carefully.
You’ll normally receive your Technique Check within 7 days.
Your video is used only for your technique assessment. After the assessment is completed, your video is deleted.
